Join Feet First Philly November 18, 2017 at Fairmount Park! Mindfulness brings meditation techniques to our everyday experiences; allowing us to be more fully present in the moment, in touch with our thoughts, emotions, and bodies. This walking meditation will be a slower pace than typical hikes as we slow to fully appreciate our surroundings, a beautiful wooded glen. While we all know the health benefits of walking in general, a mindful walk in nature has the added benefits of lowering blood pressure and stress hormones.
On September 19th, 2017, Feet First Philly is hosting a walk in partnership with Park(ing) Day Philadelphia in Old City. This tour will feature interactive parks, ice cream, and puppies! Join us to envision new, walkable streets in Philly!
