Join Neighborhood Gardens Trust, Feet First Philly, and Clean Air Council as we visit 5 community gardens in the Point Breeze section of South Philadelphia. This walk is sponsored by AARP Philadelphia. During the walk, participants will get a chance to learn from garden leaders, learn about their work this growing season, and learn about the role NGT plays in protecting these important community spaces. FFP representatives will discuss walkability along the route, and the role that greenspaces like community gardens play in the pedestrian environment.
