Feet First Philly is proud to host our 4th annual Mindfulness Walk along Fairmount Park’s Boxer’s Trail. This walk is led by Susan Barr-Toman, local author, teacher, and avid walker, who will guide us on a meditative walk. The walk will be in silence to the grounds of Mount Pleasant Mansion where walkers will participate in a structured meditation exercise.
This walk is approximately 2 miles round trip at a slower pace than typical hikes, in order to fully appreciate our surroundings. Please wear sturdy footwear, bring water, and a blanket or pillow for the meditation session.
Date and Time: Saturday, October 23, at 10:00am
Location: Boxer’s Trail at Edgely Drive & Reservoir Drive
Cost: $5 All proceeds will benefit Feet First Philly’s pedestrian advocacy work.
In the event of rain, the Mindfulness Walk will be moved to Saturday, October 30, at 10:00 am. Registered attendees will receive an email if the walk is postponed. We will also post on our social media accounts (Facebook + Twitter: @FeetFirstPhilly/Instagram @Feet_First_Philly).
