Feet First Philly and East Falls Community Development Corporation are teaming up to offer a walking tour of existing and future pedestrian amenities along Ridge Ave and Midvale Ave in East Falls.
On Thursday, July 20 beginning at 5:30pm the hour-long stroll will begin at North Ferry Rd and Kelly Dr and end at the In Riva beer garden. We will make two stops at Inn Yard Park and Vault and Vine cafe and nursery. The walk will consist of information and updates about area pedestrian improvements including lighting, transportation studies, streetscape improvements, and more.
This tour is free and open to all residents, businesses and pedestrian advocates to learn more about how East Falls is improving the pedestrian environment. The total walk length is over a mile long with the last 0.8 miles climbing a very steep section of Midvale Avenue. Remember to bring walking shoes, sunscreen, and water to ensure a comfortable tour.
