Meet Feet First Philly’s Steering Committee Chair and Vice Chair! Jennifer Dougherty and Erika Morgan will lead our all-volunteer committee and work to advocate for pedestrians!
Jennifer Dougherty:
Jennifer Dougherty is a life-long Philadelphian who grew up in Mayfair and now calls South Philadelphia home. Thanks to Philadelphia’s great walkability and transit network, Jen didn’t learn to drive until she was 24. Keeping Philadelphia safe and attractive for walking has long been one of her passions.
Jen is trained as a city planner and is the Manager of Long-Range Planning at SEPTA. At SEPTA she works on initiatives such as bus network design, trolley modernization, and multi-modal connections to stations. Previously Jen worked for the Philadelphia City Planning Commission as a community planner.
Jen has been an active member of Feet First Philly for six years, and the Chair for two years.
Erika Morgan:
Erika Reinhard, a Lehigh Valley native, lives in South Philadelphia with her husband. She is very passionate about improving the quality of life for all Philadelphians through safe, affordable and sustainable transportation.
Erika is a planner at McCormick Taylor and is a Democratic Committee Person in Ward 26. Previously, she worked at Clean Air Council as a sustainable transportation coordinator. In Erika’s spare time, you’ll catch her biking, hiking, listening to true crime podcasts, eating nachos, and spending time with her family.
Erika has been an active member since 2018 and was recently elected Vice Chair in March 2019.
