Feet First Philly has sent a letter to Councilman Mark Squilla; David Perri, Streets Commissioner; Karen Fegely, Commerce Department; and Sam Sherman, Passyunk Avenue Revitalization Corporation regarding the proposed improvements to the South 12th Street/ East Passyunk Avenue/ Morris Street intersection.
Feet First Philly strongly prefers Alternative 2 for the proposed intersection improvements. This alternative is clearly safer for pedestrians as it removes a major point of conflict between cars and pedestrians (a sharp right hand turn from East Passyunk Avenue onto South 12th Street.
