Senate Bill 172, which will legalize automated speed cameras on Roosevelt Boulevard, and likely save several lives per year, came agonizingly close to being passed through the Pennsylvania legislature last month. The bill is awaiting one final concurrence vote in the House after summer recess, and your representatives need to hear from you. Let them know how important it is that this vote happen immediately when the session resumes. While this is not the scenario we hoped for, we can still make sure SB 172 is passed, but we must keep pressure on our elected officials.
